There are charities that offer grants to families of children with cancer.
The Family Fund
Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for low-income families raising children or young people who are:

Young Lives vs Cancer
Young Lives vs Cancer offers support to children and young people with cancer and their families. They:

can help with day to day support through social workers, a Live Chat on their website and Facebook groups

give financial support through grants, welfare advice and a benefits calculator

have a Home from Home service with houses in 9 cities in the UK where your family can stay while your child is in the hospital

have a team of professionals that work with teens and young adults to limit the damage caused by cancer in their social and school lives

give bereavement support to help young cancer patients and families prepare for death

do research and campaign for policy change
