Survey - Share your views and make Cancer Research UK a better place to give your time
Summary
Type of activity: Survey
Organised by: Cancer Research UK
Location: Online, anywhere
Time commitment: One off 10-minute survey
Payment and Expenses: Not offered for this survey
Closing date: Monday 24 February 2025
We’re asking our volunteers and the Involvement Network to complete a survey to help us become a more enjoyable, diverse and inclusive place for people to give their time.
About the survey
This survey is designed to support our equality, diversity and inclusion work by helping us to gain a better understanding of your experiences with us.
As part of the survey, we’ll ask you to share some personal information, including your age, gender, ethnicity and experience of cancer. Your responses are completely anonymous, but collectively they’ll help us to gain an insight into the people that make up our volunteer community, including the Involvement Network.
Why we want your views
The insights gained from the last equality, diversity and inclusion survey in 2022 helped to make changes to improve your experience with us. Your feedback will be used to shape our next steps as we work to make Cancer Research UK a more diverse and inclusive place to give your time.
Who we’d like to hear from
We’d like to hear from as many Involvement Network members as possible. The survey is anonymous, and your personal information won't be visible - instead, all the data gathered will be collated and reviewed for overall patterns and trends. Although some of the questions are optional, we would really appreciate it if you could complete as many as possible to help us build an accurate picture of our volunteer community, including the Involvement Network.
Want to get involved?
Please complete the survey before 11.59pm on Monday 24 February 2025.
If you’ve got questions about the survey, please visit the Volunteer Hub, where you can read our FAQs, or get in touch at volunteering@cancer.org.uk.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views.
Including all voices in our work
Within the Patient Involvement Network at Cancer Research UK, we value diversity, and we're committed to creating an inclusive space where everyone can be themselves and help shape our work. We actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, communities and cultures and believe that a range of views and experiences will help us represent all people affected by cancer.
