Cancer Research UK's Carol Concert

Guests at CRUK's Carol Concert 2022

Since its inception in 1994, Cancer Research UK’s Christmas Carol Concert has welcomed in the festive season with beautiful carols and Christmas readings from the highest calibre of musicians and performers.

In 2022, the concert was held in Trafalgar Square’s beautiful St Martin-in-the-Fields, and featured readings from some of the UK’s best-loved actors, including Katherine Parkinson, Simon Callow, Minnie Driver, John Heffernan, Phoebe Dynevor and Trevor Dion Nicholas. These were perfectly complimented by beautiful arrangements from the world-class ORA singers and some well-known festive carols for all the guests to enjoy.

After the concert concluded, guests took a short stroll across Trafalgar Square’s Christmas Market to The National Gallery for an intimate champagne reception followed by a three-course meal in the Rausing Room - surrounded by an outstanding collection of works by the old masters. During the dinner guests enjoyed exclusive performances from Margaret Keys, Ronnie Scott's jazz trio and Trevor Dion Nicholas.

Thanks to the £230,000 raised at the 2022 event, the Cancer Research UK's Christmas Carol Concert has now provided over £6million in fundraising for our life-saving research.
